Your Privacy & Data
Last Updated: March 2026
At Elder Care Together, I take your privacy seriously. As a volunteer-run community project, my goal is to help you find information, not to collect your personal data for profit.
## What Data is Collected?
I only collect information that you voluntarily provide through the “Contact Us” form or when you Create an Account to submit a Field Report (such as your name and email address).
## How I Use Your Data
- Identity Shielding: When you submit a Field Report or Review, your name and contact details are never shared with care providers or displayed publicly. We only use your account info to verify your visit and prevent “fake” reports.
- Communication: Your details are used strictly for communication between you and this volunteer project.
- No Data Sales: I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with care providers, insurance companies, or any third parties.
## Your Rights & Control
- Provider Disputes: If a service provider disputes a community report, I will never reveal your identity to them. I will simply invite the provider to provide “Verified” evidence (like new photos or staffing logs) to update the listing.
- Account Deletion: You can contact me at any time to request that I delete your account or any contact information you have shared.
- Moderation: To protect the integrity of the community, I reserve the right to edit or remove content found to be malicious or intentionally misleading.
## Cookies & Analytics
This website uses basic analytics to see which pages are most helpful to the community. This helps me improve the site layout for other users.
## External Links
My site links to third-party services like Google Maps and Google Forms. Please note that I do not have control over how those external platforms manage your data.
