The "Elder Care Together" Transparency Pledge
How We Conduct Our “Detective Work”
At Elder Care Together, we believe that the “Sandwich Generation” deserves a clear, honest starting point when searching for senior care. Because we are a community-driven initiative, we use a specialized research method we call “Detective Work.”
1. Where does the data come from?
Most of our listings are compiled using publicly available information. This includes:
Official provider websites and social media profiles.
Public business registries and clinical licensing data.
Third-party reviews from Google, Facebook, and local community forums.
Physical feedback submitted by our community of volunteers and families.
2. “Public” vs. “Verified” Listings
Public Listings: These are our “Detective” profiles. We have gathered the facts from the internet to save you time, but we have not yet conducted a formal site visit or a direct interview with the manager.
Verified Listings: When a provider works with us to confirm their staffing ratios, pricing, and clinical procedures—or when our team performs a physical site visit—the listing is upgraded to “Community Verified.”
3. Our Commitment to Neutrality
We do not accept “referral fees” or commissions from care centers. Our goal is to present information in a neutral, informational way. We don’t tell you which home is “best”—we give you the data and the Visitor’s Checklist so that you can decide what is best for your parent.
A Message to Service Providers
Is your center listed here? We want to ensure your facility is represented accurately. If you would like to:
Update your staffing numbers or clinical specializations.
Submit high-quality photos of your facility.
Invite our team for a site visit to become a “Verified Provider.”
Please contact us at Contact Form. We provide these listings as a free service to the Sarawak community and welcome your collaboration in keeping the information current.
